MH Bulb shipping to APO

I have a cart all built up for my latest build.. I went to check out and i'm seeing that I cannot have the MH bulbs I need shipped to my APO address, is there any specific reason for this? I've not encountered this restriction anywhere else, but I'd like to keep my order with one company.

I'd like to purchase my bulbs here, as opposed to one of your competitors...

Thank you for your post, we stopped shipping bulbs to APO addresses and International destinations due to the fragile nature of the bulbs. We have come to find that in many cases the bulbs arrived broken to their destinations, unfortunately our shippers will not insure or cover the cost of the bulb if they arrive damaged or broken and we are unable to replace them. I do apologize if this has cause you any inconvenience. You may want to consider having your Bulb order shipped to a close relative in the states and have them ship the bulbs to you on base.

the bulbs in question, 250w Phoenix 14k DE, is $10 cheaper from aquacave. I'll just take my order to them, since they dont seem to have any trouble insuring their shipments with the USPS.
