MH Bulb suggestion

I bought some XM MH bulbs from BRS... man... they are not bright at all. it outputs less light than my 6 mo. old bulb..

for 250w.. which brand I should get? any suggestions?

i like xm 15k and also like phoenix 14k higher par then xm but more blue.

I have the 250W XM 20K bulbs and absolutely love them. Which ones did you get?

I got the 10,000K one. it's just not very good..

20K Radium's, And you don't need any Supplement lighting they are just right by themselves JMO

i have the phenix 14ks. they are very nice but i am thinking about adding actinics to my hood. the color is nice by themselves.

marine depot has radium se bulbs in 150w & 250w and de in only 150w hope this helps

Yep, kind of important , also what ballast are you running them with, what kind of corals do you like to keep?

I have double sided HQI bulbs. Trying to keep SPS happy in my tank.

Currently I have 2x250W bulbs, 1x10,000K for the SPS area, 1x14,000K for soft coral area,
and 4 39w Blue T5..

I don't know much about DE bulbs but I know people liked the Phoenix 14 K a lot a few years ago. You might try looking at past TOTM's and see what the people that have DE bulbs run.
