Mh on jbj 30 gallon rl

Will a 250 watt be too much for this tank.. If not what's a good pendant and ballast for it. Mostly sps tank

250 watts might be a bit too much for a little 30 gallon tank. I'd recommend 70 or 150 watts. AquaticLife makes a really nice little pendant.

150w Phoenix 14k, reef optix pendant, bluewave m-81 ballast.

150 would be fine. Lumatek or galaxy are good electronic & e ballasts, Hamilton makes the m-81 cube otherwise buy used m-81 ballasts.
A lumenbright mini would be a good pendant. Even a reef optix should work fine I believe.
