I just finished building my new canopy and was kicking around the idea of only using halides instead of halides + actinics. I already bought the 250w IC ballasts and XM 10k halide bulbs. I also have an IC 660 ballast and T5 hardware leftover from my previous canopy to run actinics for this new canopy if need be.
I have checked the lighting section and have read many posts about different bulbs/combos.
Anyone run the XM 10k halides alone? Are they too yellow? Some people seem to be happy with the Reeflux 12k's. Any input or pix would be great.
