MH venting setup, what do you use?

What kind of fan are you using?

Where do you vent the hot air to?

I have 2 250w's and a 400 I am using computer fans and have not thought of a good way to get the hot air out of the house. The tank is in my living room in a 3 level townhouse. Is there any good, semi easy way to get the hot air outside?

Also I would like to get a better fan setup. I am not sure if there is a certain fan that pushes air quietly. I thought about running the vent through the floor and out a window on the second floor. Any tips would be great.

I would love to help, but I have never needed to vent my tank outside. How hot is the tank getting?

Larger fans will always move more air with less noise than smaller fans. If you're currently using 80 mm's, change to 120 mm's or larger. You can also add potentiometers to the positive wire of the power cable so that you can adjust speed (and noise) to your liking.

The tank is staying within temp but my ac broke so that won't be for to long depending on if I can ever get enough to fix it. Also I just want to find a way to do this because I know it will help on the electric bill if I can figure out a decent way to do it. I am not as worried about venting it outside but if anyone has or does do that I would like to hear how. Really wondering if anyone knows any other type of fan that is good for this use, the two I have are working but I would like to upgrade if possible.

I have two 120mm computer fans pushing air into my canopy and out 3 120mm wholes in the back of the canopy. Keeps my temps pretty stable. But im not trying to vent out air to the outside of the house either. And im in the middle of Texas.

Probably should say I am using lumenarc reflectors and do not have a canopy. The fans are specifically for the mh bulbs.
