Michael's NPS Reef

Hello everyone. After allowing my Elos 120 to sit in limbo for the last few months, I have decided to try my hand at a deepwater reef.

So far here are the specs of the system:
Elos 120 (roughly 92 gallons)
Elos NS 1000 Protein Skimmer
Next Reef Media Reactor (currently running carbon)
Eheim 1260 return pump (600 gph, roughly)
Three Vortech MP10s ( I need advice on placement)
Tank is lit by LED spotlights

My plan is to house primarily LPS NPS corals, along with a few tube anemones and selects goronians, etc.

The only fish to be in the tank will be my pair of A. Arcuatus.

So, steer me in the right direction NPS gurus.

Btw, I am able to feed multiple times per day.

looks like you are off to a great start with equipment. Looking forward to seeing another NPS project.

Your tank dimensions are similar to my ADA. You can see here how I have my 3 mp10w ES pumps set up:

I use long pulse mode and try to create a gyre in one direction, then switch to the other direction. The rock layout also helps with this as it acts as a rough divider along the center. It works pretty good. Would mp40's be even better? Yes, only because it would be a little more broad. In terms of power the mp10's are enough to cause a sandstorm. There are a couple of spots where the detritus settles, but with a good clean up crew it all works out for me, and I keep some high flow demanding corals.

A little update. I have a spare Maxspect LED fixture that I can use over this tank. It is only a 60 watt fixture, while very bright over a small tank, it lights mine up perfectly.

What do youj guys think. I can program it to remain blue most of the time, and use the white LEDS for picture taking.
