Micro bubbles from skimmer

My 9012 dc is barely up from all the way down. Bubbles are halfway up the tube to the cup. All these tiny bubbles are coming out of the bottom.

This is my first skimmer. Not sure if this is normal but I dont like the carbonated soda look.

It's been running 2 weeks.

I use this same skimmer, I submerge it to the 4th horizontal bar on the side of the skimmer cup where the intake teeth air. I run the pump in the 9-11 o clock position on the controller depending on feeding, etc and carbon dosing. I do periodically get small bubbles exiting if I dose aminos or a lot of Vodka/vinegar for nutrient export but normally I don't have bubbles exiting and when I do, I don't get particularly concerned as they are largely beneficial provided they don't get to sponges or accumulate on the underside of corals. I might raise it a little and turn down the pump.
