Micro bubbles

Well i built my diy refugium but i am having a terrible time with micro bubbles. Dont know why there is a bubble trap and i see bubbles collecting on it. Any way to cut down on the amount of bubbles? I even turned off the skimmer to see if this would help and no real improvement, Any suggestions are welcome

If the bubbles are coming from the fuge, try cutting the flow down through the fuge. You don't want much flow going through there anyways and this will give the bubbles time to rise to the surface and pop.

PM alan ckreef. He has (perhaps had) a gallon milk jug thingy in his sump that did a decent job.
