I was just working on my tank a bit when my return pump start spitting out micro bubbles. My water lvl is fine, so anyone have any idea why its doing that its blowing them out like my water lvl is low.
Do you have any joints, seems, conectors, anything at all that is between the pump and tank. A connection can leak air in but not let water out, might be drawn in to the line that way.
I can't hear any air sucking noises but and i definatly dont have a water leak but i do have several connections. Thanks I will check them more closely.
If that is your sump, the microbubbles could be coming from your skimmer. The oils from your skin can cause the surface tension of the air bubbles to change and become more 'slippery'. If your skimmer is dumping in to the same area as your return pump, the bubbles being released by your skimmer would have no bubble traps to evade and thus could easily be sucked up by the return pump.
The bubbles might just go away on their own after a day or two.
