Micro Zoanthids

Question 1) A month ago I put a small number (10) of what they guy said was Bam Bam zoas, A piece of the rock broke off and disappeared in my rock work, I was turkey basting over the weekend and blew them out. They still have the orange ring but have turned purple in the middle. it this considered a morph? http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2553563

Question 2) Are micro zoas really as rare as they seem?

If it stays that color then you have a morph. Most likely it won't once it sits under normal lighting and can regain its color.

I personally wouldn't put much stock into that thread but that's just me.
