I've been having a bad algae problem. My rock and sides of the tank are full of "red slim" and "bobble" algae. All the chemical levels are right were they should be, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate are at ZERO. PH at 8.3 and Phosphate at ZERO. So I have know clue what would be the problem?????

Do you guys think this stuff might work???

I have used that stuff before and didn't notice any difference on the fish tanks. just regular water changes will help and minimizing your photo-period. also don't overfeed your fish. algae lives off of extra nutrients.

I've read reviews about the stuff, and it seems to have a 50/50 % chance of working or not. So IDK??

It's a good bacteria base, but it won't solve your problem. You have to find the root cause of any issue to truly fix it in my opinion. Anything else is a treatment or a bandaid. Not getting smart at all, I'm just saying. I posted this earlier below. Hope it helps.

When you say Red Slim, are you speaking of Cyano B. ?

algae is fixed by improved husbandry. Agreed, it's a bandaid.
your phosphates may read 0, but that may be because all your algae has sucked it out of the water.

what is your water source?
