Hi, I know this is just a "crude prototype", but please provide some specifications for this mini model eg. type of skimmer, automat, denitrator, pump and expected date when it will be launched as a fully functional filter plant. Does 200 refer to 200 litres?

Yes, 200 liters. All I know now is it will be a redesigned and more powerful 3110/2 skimmer, this will be attached to a multipurpose media filter that can hold a chemical media or mechanical media. It will probably sell for aroud $200. The name is likely to change as well. I just thought it up in November and I think they just finished a working prototype before Christmas so we still have to make the molds and finish it up- it is at least a few months away.

That sounds perfect for my 40 gallon breeder prop tank! I'll be keeping an eye out for this new product. I've been contemplating a 3110/2 skimmer for it, but this multipurpose system would also allow me to replace the powerfilter I use to run carbon. Great idea!

It should be pretty sharp, it will have a new pump and the skimmer is supposed to have a performance gain of about 25% over the 3110/2. It will also be black with blue details like the wavebox and all the newer products.

It will be double the width of the 3110/2. It has a surface skimmer on the filter portion.
