I found this group of microzoas on an old frag stump in an old neglected grow nano for mangroves. I don't recall purchasing anything this small. it is about 3mm across or 1/10th of an inch.
these are 1/10th the size. skirt - these are tight short skirts, not frilly. color of skirt - eagles have bright green. these don't. color of the skirts and the inner ring don't match either.
It was in a nano with a pair of clowns and other palys and zoas mostly nuclear greens and captain americas. It had decent light from the window and 2 par 38s. I usually toss in or leave frag plugs in there to allow polyps to grow. the nuclear greens and captain americas were growing at their regular size in there.
The small ones which I assume are new growth are about half the size of the large ones we see here.
