Midas blenny footprint

Would a midas do ok in a 12" cube tank? I can also do 16" or 18", no bigger than that though. I can pass on it if necessary. Tankmates would be a pom pom crab, watchman goby, and either a single or pair of blue damsels. For filtration, it will be tied into a 40 breeder which will be tied to a 29 gallon sump/fuge. Thanks!

Midas blenny footprint

My Midas only swims in half of the space of my tank, so 3'. It rarely ventures to the other side and sticks to two hideout spots. Albeit it loves swimming in the upper part of the water column. Neat fish.

I would think it's ok with an 18" span. Theyre not constantly swimming though.

I would do the 18" cube and atleast try it out. I would probably rethink the damsels

I have a 24" 60g cube and my Midas is all over the tank. When I had a 95g wave tank he stayed on the larger side of the tank...so I think it depends on the fish, but I will say they do like to swim in the water collum.
