Midas Blenny stopped eating

I've had this blenny for about 6 months and it was fat and healthy until now. I've always fed it a rotation of mysis, brine, and New Life Spectrum pellets. All fish ate, and loved it including the blenny.

I started noticing the blenny looking pinched so I watched it during feeding time and he is actively out and grabbing the food in his mouth, but spits it out right away, no matter what type of food it is or if I use garlic extract with it.

I don't want to lose this guy, he's a tank favorite. Any ideas? All other fish are acting normal and are eating.

Try Dr. G's caviar eggs?
Mine pretty much eats everything but always seems to love this food.
Larry's reef frenzy is another.

Best of luck - cool fish

Any diseases or parasites? They are normally very aggressive & non-picky eaters once established. Mine is first in line to feed every night in my 125, mixed in with a bunch of Wrasses, two Tangs, large Foxface & Flame Angel.

My tribal blenny (similar fish) recently decided after many months that he no longer wishes to eat nori or NLS pellets, which have both been a staple for my tank. No idea why....I've played around with a bunch of different foods, and he has decided he is okay with Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 Flakes (but not Formula 2 frozen!) and ON Formula 1 Frozen. Absolutely won't eat frozen mysis or frozen spirulina-enriched brine shrimp.

Why? No clue, but he's fat and happy and wiggles back and forth until I relent and give him his Formula 2 Flakes. Recently he's taken to falling the Foxface around and attacking the nori clip again (but not eating it, he just rips it off and spits it out, as if he were playing with it...the torn nori drifts around until the Foxface eventually sees it and chases it down to eat it).

Internal worm or something? My ywg went through this but he got too skinny and died. I treated prazipro but probably too late. He just wouldn't eat even though he used to pig out.

+1 intestinal worm. You could treat with Prazi or mix metro in with their food

I treat Prazi with every fish before they get introduced to main tank, but I guess with putting corals in... other bugs could make their way in.

Anyways, the little guy has decided to start eating again, hopefully its not too late for this guy. Seems he wasn't feeling well.
