Midas blenny

I just love the one I have now, and I was wondering if anyone kept a pair or more of this fish together. As I would like to at least add 1 more.

I love my midas blenny too, but I haven't tried nor have I read of people pairing them together. I'm following this thread in case someone knows how to sex them apart.

as far as i know you cant really sex them its more of a put two together and see what happens thing

I find it very interesting that no one on RC has not kept more than one of these fish at a time in their tank. I guess I will be the the 1st lol

Blennies will fight each other unless a mated pair. It is near impossible to sex them without surgery. Best bet is to try them until one fits and hope they don't fight to the death if they're not a pair. Good Luck

I had a pair of Tailspot Blennies in a 75 gallon community tank that, in spite of being a mated pair, would often fight visciously pre-spawn.

I've got two blue midas blenny that seem to get along. One is much smaller than the other.

There was a guy that had 3 in around a 40g Sps tank. He used to be a regular poster a few years ago. His handle was something like "Middletown mark"
