Midas blenny?

Depends on where you live. Chicago suburbs is vague. There is one store in Crystal lAke that usually carries them, Between 20 and 40 bucks depending on how hard it was to get for them.. Ocean's Floor is the name

Ya i saw one at the Reptile House in Orland Park...it was like 40 or 45 i think...at the cheapest it was 35 but i cant remember exactly but i dont think it was that cheap...there usually decent prices on most things and there fish seem pretty good...it may have been a lil high though on this one.....

For those of you that own this blenny, are they as comical to watch as the lawnmower blenny is? Besides the midas, are there any other reef-safe blennys out there? Keep in mind that I have LPS and a clam.

the midas looked pretty entertaing from what i watched of him...my friend has a lawnmover but he tends to hide or just stick his head out..the midas was swimming around and when he wasnt he was resting on the bottom i a brain i think...it was cool.

My midas blenny is the most active and entertaining fish in the tank ... it never sits still! Mine has not jumped, but the neighbors did as it liked to nip on the leather corals sweepers thinking it was food out in the water column.

mine doesn't jump, he hangs out sometimes and swims others...I like him...I thought they could be had for about $20...but it appears otherwise.

Why not try Rod's Reef right there in DeKalb? He might not have it in stock, but he could order you one and you could learn something from him to boot.
