From what everyone is saying from the Nuvo being too highly priced I might have to find a used reef tank that's already complete. I do agree with everyone that it is highly priced and unless he comes down in price I might have to consider a different tank. The only thing that's disappointing is the tank always goes in my room which as I'm limited on space and Noise was a factor with the last tank that I had. A big tank is always nice but noise is again an issue. Might have to reconsider my options..

I would stop using the "hive mind" and just buy what you like. I don't mind paying a little more for the things if I get it exactly the way I want it.

At the end of the day, its your system, and your money. If its what you really want, and it works around your limitations, then id say go for it. Getting what you want, is better then settling for something thats not exaclty what you want and then regretting it.

you can make large systems very quite, you can also have small systems that are very loud. size has very little to do with it. If you want a small system, check into the various biocube type designs, they are all inclusive, and would take minimal money to setup and maintain.
