Mike's 150g SC Aquarium Build

Couple things came in the mail today, few lengths of red pipe to keep up the red & white theme, carbon, GFO and two Jager 300w heaters.

Ah you know I'm kidding. Setting up a big tank correctly isn't easy, took me almost 6 months and I cut corners. Isn't it nice setting up the tank you want knowing you don't have to take it down this time? Everything looks great so far. Love the extra details like the red pvc.

This is the biggest system I've set up to date. It's going in the new house so I'm trying to plan the best I can. In the past I've skimmed on equipment, cut corners like you said, just said ehhh it's ok, no one will notice. The thing is though, all you little SOB's notice!!! Haha, so I figured, just like people in the car hobby, they pop the hood and everyone sees that shiny big block pumping out some serious horsepower. I wanted to make my sump the same way, nice clean look and powerful :) couple colored PVC pipes wouldn't hurt the cause lol.

This is one exciting build, love the patience and attention to detail. Never owning an Apex, you will not understand why you never did!
