It looks like Saturday is the day to get everything transferred to the 300! I had dry rock in my 180 and had a few pieces that had run away hair algae. I read up on doing a Acid bath. It turned out ok. wasn't sure what to expect all the algae came of with ease.

Probably about 40 minutes or so.

I started with one gallon and let it bubble away. when it stopped, I added another gallon of acid

Ha ha No! Its in my basement. It will be a bar and the back cabinets /w the fridge are on the other side of the tank. :dance:
Oh and my wife has been "tolerant" about this upgrade!

That it what we are doing but my wife will be picking out the tile so its up to her. I am also putting LED accent lighting underneath the bar.
