Amazing tank Mike, congratulations, glad all the catastrophe is a thing of the past.

Either way works. The thing you have to look out for is the barb on tangs, trigger, etc. This can get caught up in the net and cause difficulties. The smaller the holes in the net generally the better. If you can catch your fish barehands by all means go for it, you'd have to bring out the 'fish whisperer' if you do so! :strooper:

Hey thanks - if I ever do need to use a net, I'll keep the mesh size in mind!

We agree with that. Actually, from everything we read from trusted sources and from our own experience, you should avoid netting or touching the fish if at all possible. Everyone with fish should have one of these dip and pour containers; they're inexpensive and work great for catching and transferring.

I really appreciate the link to the dip and pour containers. Plan to order a couple!

Thank you Kinlayan! We couldn't be happier with them. They are doing great in QT and are already eating NLS pellets along with frozen mysis, brine and bloodworms.

The romboids are very hard too find here Mike,one day they will swimm in the tank here,good luck whit them.

We have been calling him "Lou" as in the original Incredible Hulk because he has so much green coloring and is such a MASSIVE, muscular fish.

After taking this shot with the macro lens, we noticed he's starting to look a bit "vampiresque" with the fangs showing. Perhaps "Count Wrasscula" might be a bit more fitting... :lol2:

I love Diver's Den, but what really got me where those amazingly crisp fish pictures! Absolutely stunning!

I'm hesitant to post about whats going on in my tank because I feel like I might jinx it. That being said, I have completely removed the biopellets from the system and done weekly water changes for the past few months and just the other day I noticed that about 80-90% of my corals appear to be getting there color back! Of course now I have brown algae and red slime algae all over my sand bed, but I should be getting some new toys son that I hope will fix that.

We've got an acclimation box sitting smacked-dab in the middle of the front of the tank right now with our Rhomboid pair, so not a good time to snap any new FTS pics. Maybe later in the week, once we release the Rhomboids.
