Milky Eyes

I just got home from a two day trip to be greeted by my lovely imperator looking horribly ill. He is swimming fine, but he seems to have become blind. There is a milky substance covering his eyes and seems to be sloughing off of one of them a teensy bit.

I put food in the tank and my once veracious angel tried to eat, but he can't find the food. He just ate what came to him. He's in the middle of changing into his adult coloratin, so I wasn't sure if he did looked a little pale, or if it was due to his change. I didn't think much of it before I left because his fins were clean and he ate like a pig (maintained his weight, pretty fat actually). All the other fish look great and my cleaner shrimp are stellar.

Please any suggestion on what to do to save my fish would be much appreciated. I couldn't stand to lose him.
