I have a green A. millepora in a simple 12g mixed reef nano tank and it has been quite robust. They generally like bright light and med-high flow. In nature, they are one of the most widely distributed and successful corals and they can generally adapt to varying conditions (within reason).

Post a pic and your exact parameters for what you are testing and you'll get more help.

I find millepora to be on the easier side, most SPS I purchase lose a little color at first, and then slowly gain it back over a few weeks...not the case with my 3" gold/green millie. It never lost color, has very good polyp extension, and survived a week of power outage with tank temperatures dropping to 59 degrees for several days and no light.

What kind of lighting are you running?
