Milli PE From Great to None

Hello, I have a Palmer's Blue Milli that has been in my tank for about 4 months. About a month ago the polyp extension has gotten very poor, so bad that they pretty much don't come out at all. In the time around when it started getting poor, nothing had changed that I was aware of. My tests were reading pretty steady at: Ca 420, 7.28 dKh, Mg 1260. I have since started raising the dKh, but if it was happy at these numbers before why wouldn't it be now? I am looking for troubleshooting ideas and general conditions that give the best PE. Thanks

how is your flow? as mine are pretty hairy with strong flow and high light, also may want to check for acro eating flatworms they love millis.

I can't see any pests, but I don't know that I am qualified to say that there are none. I don't see the bite marks that I understand come with AEFW and I can't see any red dots on it.

I think the flow is pretty good. I am using an MP10 on reef crest mode right now, about 80% max level. I have also had it on wave mode recently, neither made a difference. Here is an FTS to show placement, it is hard to see the MP10, but it is on the right wall. The milli in question is lower center.

your millie (and other corals) may not like those giant leathers in the tank. When I decided to focus on SPS, I removed the leathers from my tank due to the alleopathy between species.

using lots of carbon, frequent water changes and flow pattern considerations may help

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately I can't remove the leather because my wife is far too attached to it. I can try to put the HOB back on with carbon in it and see if that helps.
