Moving Out
I want to use this single PH controller for maintaning a PH value in my calcium reactor. Are these units good enough for that simple job?

Yep, had one and it worked perfectly. Cheaper than the pinpoint too.
How long did you get out of it, and how was the calibration.. easy or difficult?
Thanks

I think I had it for about a year, then sold it. Calibration was easy, but it was in need of a new probe at that point.

I have the Milwaukee and it is a piece of crap. Hard to calibrate and I don't trust it. Get a Pinpoint or a Reef fantatic. Do yourself a favor.

Mine has been flawless for 2.5 years now. It holds calibration better than lab grade instruments I have worked with and is actually a snap to calibrate. I don't know where keeper is coming from I think its a very good unit and I have seen and used lots of meters in my profession.

Have you heard anything about the SMS125 which also has an ORP?

A lot of people say that ORP reading are not very accurate for any of the controllers. Just the impression I got from number of posts.

That's what I was looking for.

Where is the best place to buy one of these? I have read that there are normal ones and the reverse one (not sure why) but I would like a normal for CO2.
Thanks,
Leon

I bought mine as a package deal with a 957 Mlwaukee Regulator, calibration fluid, check valve and CO2 resistant tubing from a vendor over on The Planted Tank.net .
