Mine Is 3 Inches..Does Size Matter

Talking Glass cleaning Magnets here folks.

I have a 3 inch magna float on my 76g 1/2 glass. It seems that I am losing ground with a slight haze over the last 4 months (only Magnet cleaner I have had)
This morning I was cleaning off a ton of those Micro teensy tiny white bugs (I lack proper names lol) and I noticed I have to go in constant circles overlapping a LOT to get some of those hazy areas perfect. I also have to recover a separated magnet over and over and over.

Does Size Matter?

...I meant to put this in "Lighting, Filtration and Other Equipment"
I also see there is a new magnet thread there...sorry

Definitely important

you probably need a larger size, with stronger magnet
that should prevent the seperation in the main, although irrespective of size and strenght of any given magnet, if you change direction to quickly even the stronger ones designed to be compatible with 10mm tank walls, will seperate on my 8mm tank occasionally
but in general one or two passes with the magnet on the micro algae is adequate for me

Ok , Thanks. I am sure my half circle glass only allows the outside edges for contact as well. it can take as many as 15 to 20 tiny circles to clear 2 square inches of glass. Obviously this is getting old. I am sure the curved glass is a large part of the problem and suspect a larger Mag would help me more than most
