Minh's 320 reef

The time have come for my rare T. gigas to leave my tank. I have to decide between my anemones and T. gigas since they requited drastically different conditions. I started a thread on the selling forum and listed the price at 2000.00. I have to put down a firm price due to RC policy, however I am much more interested in a buyer who can come by and pick the clam up, and able to provide the right condition for this big boy long term.

What is your plan of attack. Mine has been no carbon and Tech M. I have been winning but I still see patches of the stuff. Every week I alternate which 1/3 I start to scrub and focus on

good plan, Tech M worked for me when I elevated it to 1800.

Minh: do carpets split easily?

I am not sure yet. Right now the Foxface seem to pick at it a bit. Will see if that is all that is needed. I think I will push Mag up. It does have to wi with Tech magnesium right? not other magnesium.

jb,
Carpets do not split. Cut them and 9 out of 10 you got two dead have anemones. The few that survive the immediate periord seem like they never last too long.

Minh, yes with only Tech M. There is an added ingredient that attacks bryopsis. No other MG supplement will do the trick

I see, thanks Minh. I should have went with a carpet a long time ago vs. BTA. I hate it when they move and split or leave a piece of foot behind.

I am getting really sick of poor deformed TR clowns so I got a few Wild caught PNG A. percula. Here is one of my new pair in my green Gigantea today.

I added a Leopard Wrasse pair about 3 and 6 months ago. They are doing well. One from LiveAquaria and the other from Petco. I guess they originated from the same place but one directly send to me and other via local Petco. Both are doing very well. The second one is a larger one and he is changing and is a much darker fish than the smaller one. I guess I am seeing sexual dimorhism changes started. They really acts like a pair and almost never or than 12 inches apart in the aquarium. Below are a few picture of them together and separate more detail pictures of the color changes.

Together 1 month ago, color changes started
