mini carpet to better spot

I first got a mini carpet it wouldn't attach to anything so it drifted and next day it was on the back wall of the tank, it's a bit low and hidden away. The light is not great there at all. It opens in a circular shape. It's been there for a week, will it be able to move itself to find better light?? I am worried about it's well being not having enough light, but it's very difficult to peel it off ..

point your water flow at it of you want to make it mad and move. if it is opening then i am sure the light is fine, is it feeding?
