Mini-fuge

I have been wanting to use chaeto for some time now. I am not able to do the rear-chamber mod. as I have my skimmer pump there. Oh, for those that do not know, I have a 12G NanoCube. I am not able to use a power filter fuge as I have fixtures overhanging my tank. So I was wanting to get some pros and cons of this.

Are you talking about the little clear container in the upper right-hand corner?

Yeah the little clear thing... my bad. I guess I should have specified somehow. Thanks for pointing that out Brandon. If you don't see anything wrong with running it like that. I would like to get some from you. I already have a little caulerpa that is in the tank anyway. Snails and hermits take care of most of it though.
I will PM you about getting some of it.

I ran some cheato in a similar setup (was actually a Lee's bredder net with frame) and it seemed to work fine. It kept growing fine anyway. I did get a bit of red slime growth on part of it, but I think that was because the flow throw/around it was pretty low.
