Mini invertebrate tank?

Hi guys! I have been out of the hobby for about 5years and really want to get back in again. I saw the Nuvo Fusion 10 gallon and instantly fell in love with the design. I have always wanted a tank that focused on crab and shrimp and was wondering if you guys thought 10 gallons was too small for an invert tank. Planned on having a 3 or 4 chunks of live rock to make a centerpiece. Any species that you would stay away from? I could go with the 20 gallons if I had too. Thanx!

coral bandit shrimp. great if you want it as a center piece. terrible with neighbors.

you can add skunk shrimp, sexy shrimps, blood shrimp. All look very nice. Pompom crabs look great too.

This is definately doable. The challenge in a small tank is maintaining stable salinity. Evaporation has to be topped off so am ATO should be considered. A canopy might help. Inverts are sensitive to salinity changes. Hand top off is possible but its easy to forget and you need a plan while you're away from the tank.

The Gaudy Clown Crab (Platypodiella spectabilis) is a beautiful crab also, if you can find one. I have no idea what their dietary requirements are though.
