mini maxi anemonse are taking over. they are so colorful and i can not stop buying

Did u ever get your minis to stay on the sand or they jut on the rockwork?

mine all stay on the rock work. i might put some little small rocks down in the sand and set some mini maxi anemones on them. we will see. im really liking the sand. makes my tank look so much better.

Are they movers like other anemones or are they more stationary?

Mine were all pretty stationary; but every so often I'd get a mover. Some preferred being on rock, others on sand, some at base of rockwork at sand level.

well i have about 75 mini maxi's in my 360 gallon. they are all over the rock work from high to low. i don't have any in the sand.

over half of my mini maxi anemones are in my 2 acrylic boxes that a buddy made for me. when i buy the mini maxi's they go right into the acrylic box. after a few weeks. i cut all of them in half. half go in one box and the other half go into another box. after i frag them a few times. then i put them into my 160 gallon and 360 gallon tanks

nice, Ill get a pic of mine tonight, picked up a rainbow from someone breaking down their tank for $20, pink mouth then radiates red-orange-yellow-green to the tips.

After a month on a rock he crawled around it to the other side, then down like he was going to cross the sand for a bigger rock, then he went back up and around to his original spot.....I think he is confused =) But he takes mysis and brine when I feed.

Thanks! It's hard to find yellow stuff for a reef so I bought it for the contrast.

LOL nope. If a clown went in one the anemone would eat it.
