That block should easily last a decade or so with proper maintenance.

The RD600 does not cross over to a Laguna. In reality, while some of the Lagunas will work ok in place of the larger powered motors, there are differences to the red dragons as well. Unlike the Lagunas, Royal Exclusiv did not use off the shelf Askoll blocks. They had various changes made by Askoll this fit the needs of the skimmer size they went on. The windings in varied so that the pumps were not over or under powers. Then there is the AKB which is only found on the Red Dragons that included that feature.
