Minimum qt size?

What is the minimum size for a qt tank? Working on a 120g build and not sure of my stocking plan yet but nothing huge.

I would suggest a 20 gallon long. It would allow you to quarantine even the small sized tangs that would be appropriate for your tank, but yet small enough to be easy to maintain. I also have a 120 and the 20 gallon long has worked well for me.

+1^ a 40g breeder is also a nice size QT

I use 2 20 longs for TTM and a 40 breeder for the actual QT for my setup. Has worked well for me...

I use 20l for ttm too and a 40 breeder for actual quarantine tank. Ttm tank transfer method.

20 gallons is probably ideal. But many small fish can do fine in a 10g, some even in a 5g in a pinch. The only problem is keeping an eye on evaporation & salinity.
