I would suggest a 20 gallon long. It would allow you to quarantine even the small sized tangs that would be appropriate for your tank, but yet small enough to be easy to maintain. I also have a 120 and the 20 gallon long has worked well for me.
20 gallons is probably ideal. But many small fish can do fine in a 10g, some even in a 5g in a pinch. The only problem is keeping an eye on evaporation & salinity.
