I am looking into starting a larger tank 120-180 gallons and need to also get a qt tank. I will be adding fish such as tangs, butterfly, trigger, angelfish, and want to make sure the qt tank is large enough so it is not a problem. I know some of these fish are sensitive and don't want to have to stress them twice if at all possible.
Is a basic 10 gallon enough, how about a 20?
I know I have huge expenses to start the large tank and want to keep the qt cheaper (and easier to store when not in use) but I don't want to risk the fish.
