Hi....my name is Steve and I've been in the hobby for about 5 years now.

I started 2009 with a sera biotop nano cube 60 (15 gallon), but this little tank was really fast too small.

So i decided 2010 to enlarge and build my first custom made cabinet with a 250 liter (66 gallon) optiwhite glass maintank and a sump.

This was a very good decision, a few things about them I didn't like but hey, it worked.

Last year, I struck accidentally my aquarium glass cover against the edge of the tank, damn!

But luckily I am well assured. So I immediately started again making plans. But this time I get exactly what I want.

After a few days, the old 250 liter reef degraded and had been rebuilt in the new tank...

thereafter, beautiful clean...everything looks gorgeous! The fish are happy and use their racetrack from back to front, from top to bottom.

lighting: two weeks ago there was a small change. one of the Aqua Science Blue was replaced with a Giesemann Powerchrome Pureactinic.

From left to right: Aqua Science Blue / Aqua Science Special / Korallenzucht Coral Light Fiji Purple / Aqua Science Duo / Giesemann Powerchrome Pureactinic / Aqua Science Special

subjectively, the coloring has not changed much, it is still nice and bright and just slightly bluish. for me the best mix ever.
