Miracles in glass Vs. Oceanic

I was wondering if anyone has compared the craftsmanship of these two brands of tanks?

I am looking at getting a 120 for my next tank and the price difference is pretty dramatic. The Miracles tank is sweet though and if the craftsmanship is as classy as the design of the tank it would be worth the extra cash. Plus I think it would be delivered to my house which would be cool.

Can anyone comment on these two brands of tanks.

i don't own either tanks but miracles is known as one of the best glass tanks on this board if your willing to pay the extra cash it would be well worth it i would go with the starphire glass as well its the shipping though that just hard for me to swallow

I've been shopping my custom tank around. It is a 35g, 24x18x18, with 3 starfire panels and a rear overflow. Oceanic came in several hundred dollars over Miracle in Glass, and they wanted to use a thinner glass tickness than miracles. The only good thing with oceanic is they ship it to the fish store, so i don't pay them to ship. Miracles charges to ship to your door. So in the end, Miracles was more expensive beacuse of the shipping, but not by much. Also, Miracles was more open to my ideas than oceanic. Derek at Miracles is a great guy and very helpful. My tank is being built now, so we'll see how it comes out!

I would like to see some pics when you receive it if you don't mind.

The tank I am looking at would be almost $500 more than a similar sized oceanic.

I spoke with him this morning about a tank, and he was a really great guy to work with.

I am inquiring about a tank close to the size of yours. I know our options are different, but, do you mind PMing me the quote from your tank, even if it includes shipping?
