Mirror butterflyfish and Panda butterflyfish

Has anyone ever kept a mirror butterflyfish ( Chaetodon Speculum ) panda butterflyfish ( Chaetodon Adiergastos ) ? my lfs got a bunch of them . Are they difficult to keep ? Thanks for any advice

Both are difficult at best to get eating prepared foods. You have the luxury of seeing which ones do or don't eat at the LFS. Make sure you see the one eat you pick out and I'm not talking about a clam on a half shell, I'm talking free floating food in the water column (mysis,brine,whatever) some may only eat food when it hits the bottom of the tank. Point is do your homework and be prepared for a long road. Seeing fish eat clams on the half shell is good and all but you will need to feed a handful per day to keep one from death, and it will still be lacking proper nutrition from just the clam.
