Missing alarms and warnings virtual outlets...

I have 8 outlets showing up for my energy bar, and 1 for my Vortech.

I may have deleted the others during day 1 troubleshooting. Not sure.

How can I get the alarms and warnings virtual outlets to show up?

I think they are called EmailAlm_I5, SndAlm_I6 and SndWrn_I7.

They should be added automatically; I've never heard of them being deleted. If they don't appear try to reboot the Apex and see if they come back.

Is there a reboot command, or do you just unplug the Apex?

I tried the latter, and when it came back up, I still only see the 9 physical outlets. I'm looking at the "Apex Outlet Setup" web page.

Thanks.

If you look at your 'all status' web page, do they show up there?

How about the XML status report?

Nope. Can't find them anywhere. Not even in the XML.

I bet I need to delete and re-add a module, but I'm not sure which, and if I'll lose any of the configuration I have set.

You can try to save your current program, then perform an Aquabus Init, then restore the program. This should certainly bring them back.

Neptune support answered my email in a few hours, and also suggested wiping memory.

So I saved the program XML to a file, wiped the outlet memory only, and then reprogrammed the outlets manually. I cut-and-pasted the programs from the XML file I had saved. Took about 5 minutes, so not too much of a hassle.

So if you see an outlet you don't recognize, don't delete it! Make sure you don't need it first.

In the future these outlets should be impossible to delete, or you should be able to recreate them easily. That would be a lot more user-friendly!
