Missing Cleaner Shrimp....

Do cleaner shrimp eat each other?

I ask because one of the two I have has disappeared. The first one I got about two weeks ago, with a Clownfish. The second shrimp I got three days ago. Once he was in the tank, I only saw him for about an hour. I have not seen him since .

The other shrimp I see everyday. I don't have any crabs, that's all the live stock I have, besides snails.

I had bought one about a month ago and I drip acclimated it for about 2 hours, then added it to the tank. Later that night, I went to search for it. I lifted up the rock and it was dead and more than half of It was gone. All of my snails were swarming around it. Since it lived less than 2 hours, the pet store refunded my money the next day and I got a new one that has been living ever since. How many snails do you have in your tank? Only about 10 nassarius were finishing off the shrimp in my tank.

LOL, I forgot I posted this. I ended up finding him. He likes to stay in a hole in a rock that faces the rear of the tank. Its very difficult to see him. I spotted him when he came out for a few hours. I guess he is just trying to get use to the new environment. My other cleaner is out all the time.
