I have a 75 gallon reef tank with some new additions but have had some fish go missing shortly after. I had an Adult Bristletooth Tang, Diamond Goby, Ocellaris Clown, Royal Gramma and a Blue Damsel. I added a Copperband Butterfly fish about 6 weeks ago and a Green Bird Wrasse 2 weeks ago. I didn't notice any issues after adding the Copperband Butterfly. After adding the Green Bird Wrasse, he stole the Goby's burrow after 3 days and I haven't seen the Goby since. I haven't seen my Royal Gramma in 3 days and have been watching closely at feeding time.
Does seem to be a coincidence or is the Copperband Butterfly or the Green Bird Wrasse killing my fish? Again, no issues after the addition of the Copperband Butterfly. I have not even seen a carcass and I have not found any fish dead outside of the tank. Would a Green Bird perhaps eat those fish? Any thoughts?
Thanks
Matt
