Did anybody read the 2007 Marine Fish and Reef mag, Scott Michael had a article in there about fungiids, and Mitch was talking about a bannerfish that had fed on the tisue of the mushroom coral . Maybe Mitch could get Scoot M. to speak at a meeting in the near future if they are close buds.

That's AWESOME!! Mitch has been mentioned in numerous articles as well as in books. Check out the 3rd vol of The Reef Aquarium by Delbeek and Sprung. He has pics of his Sulawesi tank at the zoo.

As I have said many times...people in Omaha should feel very lucky to have the " Mitch Man" at their fingertips!!

Scott Michaels is definetly on the list of upcoming speakers we would like to host at one of our meetings. For those that may not know it Mitch has been responsable for lining up all of the speakers we have had since I have been with the club. Mitch spoke to our club a few months ago (unfortunetly he was up against the Huskers), but for the few that attended it was a great and interesting lecture on some of the work he has done this past year. Having Mitch in our club here in Omaha is like the Pittsburg club having Calfo. Its obvious by these forums that Mitch doesn't bring a lot of attention on himself, but in the Aquarium community he is very well respected and lectures to other clubs from time to time. Just do a quick Google on Mitch Carl and you will see his name come up associated with MACNA's IMAC's and other club throughout the country. Now that I have sufficiently sucked up, I need to PM him to see who he can help us get this year:).
