Mitra snail experience

Has any one kept Mitra snails with success? I impulse bought one at a LFS without researching them and have found some info that says that they only eat Peanut worms. Of course not mentioned at the LFS. I should learn to research each animal before I buy it.

I'm guessing you bought one of the big orange and white ones? That's Mitra mitra, and yes, they mainly eat peanut worms. The smaller miter species eat other worms, and would be easier to keep, especially if you have a pretty good sized sand bed.
