Mixed Kalk Shelf Life?

I mixed a couple of gallons of kalk a couple of months ago, is it still viable?
They are stored in one gal glass jugs with tight screw on lids>

I thought one week was the max on that? I could be wrong, but if you look on the label it should say!

I would be worried about the stagnant water more than the kalk.

Kalk solution fairly quickly loses its potency if it is kept in contact with open air. Closed containers, however, do improve it...but a couple of months may be a little long.

Thanks for the answers, I'm using pickling lime, it's cheap enough
to just make another batch. Thanks.

I've heard Randy Farley say he mixes his calc and has it on hand for about a month.
