Mixed reef to nem species tank? Is it easier?

My mixed reef is now 2 years old and I am just now having to deal with dosing. Up until now my tank has done well with just water changes to keep mag, calcium and alk fairly stable. I have no issues keeping water clean but I am finding it frustrating to constantly test and add what's needed.

What I would like to know is if I was to go to a straight bubble tip nem/clown tank if I would be able to rely on weekly water changes to maintain them. I have done some searching but I am not really finding any info on how much nems uptake elements. All I can find is that "nems should be kept in NSW conditions" when it comes to these elements. I initially thought that might mean I would be in the same boat but if they do not uptake elements at the rates that stoney corals do than maybe I can do it

I would love to have a single haddoni in lieu of the BTAs but am worried my setup might not be appropraite. I will need to change up my flow since I think I have too much for BTAs (or a haddoni) but that's doable.

The only corals I would want to keep for sure is the large red acan in the middle and the red chalice to its right.

Anemones do not require stable calcium or several other things like that. They require stable temp, salinity, alk and pH. They also require low to no nitrates and phosphates. My opinion is to feed them all weekly and do water changes alternating the feeding. This should be everything you should need to keep them happy as far as nutrients and parameters.

In some ways it's easier, usually no dosing needed, but if you keep the chalice you may need to do something to keep it happy.
For the short time I did a BTA specific I didn't do anything but WC's.
Some can handle decent flow, some of mine went straight in front of PH's, but dropping your flow is pretty simple if needed.

Thank you! For some reason I couldn't find this type of info anywhere but I knew you guys would be able to help out. Keeping water clean and stable from the perspective of SG, temp and pH is not a problem for me. I just don't think I will have the time to upkeep a tank full of stoney corals.
