Mixing anemones in one tank.

Can you keep a ritteri anemone in the same tank with a red and a green bulb anemone? Will they kill each other or can they touch each other if they happen to come across one another?

I do without any problems. The magnificas stay on the top of their rock island and the BTAs stick near the bottom. So far I haven't had any contact between the two, but I'd imagine that the BTA would get the crap stung out of it if it did. The magnificas have much more powerful stings.

+1 bta's can live with about any nem. as long as they don't touch each other you should be fine

I have had bta's with lta's for the past 2 years with no problems. If they happen to get to close the bta's usually just move.

Do you do anything special? Anything you wouldn't do if you only had one species?

Carbon is a definite must-have. Any particular placement of powerhead or rockscaping?
