Mixing Anthias ?

I currently have a trio of carberryi Anthias and was hoping to add another female trio of maybe resplendent or Randall.

For those of you who have multiple types of Anthias mixed together, do you see any concerns with this?

Anthias generally mix pretty well - as long as you have adequate space. I have four different species in my 265: 5 bimaculatus, 3 Bartlett, 7 resplendent and a single evansi.

I have an XL male squarespot in quarantine I plan on putting in with my pair of dispars currently in my 180 and expect no issues. The dispars also school with the 5 green chromis and 4 bicolor chromis with no issues. In previous setups I've kept dispars, a trio of squarespot, 5 lyretails, a Bartlett's, and a male rubrizonatus together without issue. I just make sure to feed them 3x per day.

Thanks Ca1ore, do you think a 140G is large enough? When picking anthias, I choose carberryi due to the smaller adult size and resplendent only reach a max of 3" as well.

Four or six feet long? I'd be inclined to stick with the smaller species. Bimacs, squares, Pictilis get too large probably. Resplendents and carberryi are probably my two favorite 'keep able' small anthias.

I have a 140g (5 ft long) and have had success with mixing evansi with dispars, ignitus, and carberryi. This is my tank last year:

SPS didn't survive long term with all my angels and I have since reset my tank with just anthias and chromis.
I currently have a mixed group of evansi, dispar, randalls, ignitus, and lyretails in my 140g now.
