Mixing cardinal fish?

I was wondering if it would be "ok" to mix a small school (maybe 4 or 5 of each type) of orange lined and red spotted cardinals? I've seen Banggai and PJ cardinals in the same tank with no apparent signs of aggression so I was hoping maybe this mix would be "ok" too.

I'd be interested to hear about others' experiences, but my attempt to mix one banggai with a small shoal of blue-eye (leptacanthus) cardinals in my 200 gallon display did not go well. They were fine during the day, but when the moonlights went on, and the banggai was no longer the lone "nite-owl" fish, she didn't take kindly to it, and I had to remove her.

Some can and some can't. It is hit or miss. I have never been able to keep 3 pajama cardinals together for more than a week or two.
