Mixing Cardinals

Hey y'all,

I currently have 3 pajama cardinals in my 215 (72"x24"x31"). Two are a mated pair, they spawn from time to time, and the third while not bestest buds with the pair is at least tolerated.

From time to time I see bonded pairs or trios of Kaudern's cardinals offered on Diver's Den.

Would these Kaudern's work with my pajamas, or would I have Thunderdome on my hands?

I have had three pajamas and 2 Bangaii in my 90 gallon for several months. They all do fine.

I had 4 pj's in my 120 with a pair of banggais until recently when I decided to remove the pj's. The female banggai would chase the pj's quite a bit, especially near time to spawn. Twice, I had to fish a pj out of the overflow box after she chased them into it. The pj's ate well and were perfectly healthy (had them in there for about 6 months) but they seemed to live in constant fear. I like my tank relatively peaceful.

I also like my tank to be relatively peaceful. I definitely don't want a lot of chasing.
