Mixing Clownfish

I currently have a 3 tank raised ocellaris clown fish. I used to have 4 but the 4th died, the 3 are currently in a 55 gallon tank and are fighting so I am planning on moving the pair to another tank. Can I add a different type of clownfish to the 55 gallon tank such as a black and white ocellaris or a cinnamon clownfish? Would they pair up or fight?

No, They will fight.

Wait, you have three in the 55g, you're moving two to another tank, and you're looking to add one to the 55g again? therefore having 2 in the 55g, and 2 in another tank? If so, yes thats fine. But its not recommended to have more than 2 in a single tank, unless its absolutely huge.

when adding the second, make sure they are the same species, otherwise they will fight

I was looking to add a black ocellaris to my existing tank with one regular ocelarris.

You maybe ok then since they are the same type of clown just different color. If you can try to get a black and white that's smaller than the regular ocellaris.

Yes - you can add the b&w occ. clownfish with the regular occ. clownfish.
